Notre vision

The SPEFSA offers support in the areas of health and education with the goal of contributing to the development and well-being of families within the francophone community of Southern Alberta.

Our mission

The Société de la petite enfance et de la famille du Sud de l'Alberta (Southern Alberta Society for Children and Families) aims to offer services and establish close partnerships with organisations that are centered around education, health, judicial and social services in order to provide assistance in the following domains:

Family support
Child development
Information
Parenting education

With the goal of:

Contribuing to the integration of newly arrived francophone families within our community
Support parents in their role as educators and facilitate access to various health and educational resources
Make both known and available, information and resources on the subjects of Francisation and Exogamy (programs designed to assist mixed French + another language/culture families.
